Raised between small-town struggle and raw creativity, his first steps into music came in church as a teenager, trying to impress girls with a guitar and a voice he was still learning to control. Throughout his 20s, he bounced through genres—folk, grunge, blues, country—searching for a sound that matched his stories. Hip hop found him in his late 20s, and he’s been locked in ever since.
